Beverly
A. Corsetti provides accounting,
administrative, and regulatory compliance services to Hurwit &
Associates and to the firm’s nonprofit clientele. During her
ten years with Hurwit & Associates, Ms. Corsetti has managed
the firm’s financial matters and has worked with educational,
health care, human service, environmental, and arts client organizations
throughout the U.S. and abroad.
Ms. Corsetti’s services include implementation,
management, and consulting relating to the installation and set-up
of accounting software and charts of accounts. On behalf of nonprofit
clients, she produces monthly and annual financial statements, and
is responsible for bill paying and invoicing, disbursements, cash
receipts, and bank reconciliations. She consults on accounting for
fundraising, grants, and program activities and has served as a
liaison between boards of directors and administrators.
Ms. Corsetti also has responsibility for
completing annual corporate and informational filings for nonprofit
clients with various state Attorneys General and Secretaries of
State, and with the Internal Revenue Service. Her regulatory experience
encompasses all aspects of organizational filing requirements from
inception to on-going filings to dissolution.
Ms. Corsetti is a member of the American
Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, holds a degree in Business
Administration and has completed the Accounting Certificate Program
at Bentley College. She currently serves as a director and treasurer
of a nonprofit environmental organization, and formerly owned and
operated a retail gift store.
