
CONSTANCE M. CASTRO
Attorney Castro handles matters including nonprofit entity formation, contracts (such as IT service agreements, data-sharing agreements, and independent contractor agreements), state and federal regulatory compliance, lobbying compliance, website privacy policies, conflict of interest analyses, ethics advice, deviation petitions, and commercial tenancies.
Attorney Castro has worked in both the public and private sectors in areas such as data security law (including the General Data Protection Regulation
- GDPR), health law (including HIPAA compliance), trademark and copyright law, administrative law, immigration law, and wills and trusts. As a
litigation attorney with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance, she represented the Department in courts across
the state, from Pittsfield to Barnstable. In her private practice, she has enjoyed working with a variety of clients including physicians engaged
in “Direct Primary Care” medical practices and experts at the apex of their professional fields immigrating to the United States.
Attorney Castro graduated from Union College in Schenectady, NY, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. She attended New England School
of Law, where she was on the Dean’s List and earned an American Jurisprudence Award in Family Law. In 1994, she was admitted to the Massachusetts
bar, followed by her admission to the First Circuit District Court and First Circuit Court of Appeals in 1995. She is a member of the Massachusetts
Bar Association.
