NONPROFIT ATTORNEY

We seek an attorney interested in becoming a key member of our dynamic, collaborative, and highly-regarded firm specializing in nonprofit law. The position offers an excellent opportunity to assume significant responsibility working closely with tax-exempt organizations and philanthropists throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Ideal candidates will have 4-6 or more years of corporate, tax, and/or nonprofit law experience; an ability to think practically and strategically; excellent interpersonal and one-on-one client skills; and an ability to manage multiple client relationships and matters concurrently.

We’re looking for attorneys who are strongly motivated to impact the ability of our clients to achieve their charitable objectives. We represent organizations across the nonprofit landscape, including educational, arts, environmental, health, social service, and religious organizations as well as foundations, social venture funds, lobbying organizations, and professional and trade associations. Our clients range from small local organizations to large national and international institutions and NGOs.

LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

We seek a Legal Administrative Assistant to become a key member of a dynamic, collaborative, and highly regarded law practice working exclusively in the nonprofit sector. Our clients range from community-based organizations to national and international institutions and NGOs. Responsibilities will include providing administrative and clerical support to our team and office administration including: client communication, answering and directing calls and email, calendar management, preparing and processing incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining and organizing paper and electronic files. Candidates must be proficient in office technology including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams). Familiarity with Cosmolex or similar system of legal timekeeping, billing, and document management a plus! Additional administrative duties may be assigned including the opportunity to assist in the management of the firm’s website, newsletter, and social media.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Previous experience in a law office preferred
