ERIN T. CASHMAN
Nonprofit lawyer Erin T. Cashman has worked in the areas of trusts and estates, employment law, insurance litigation, business formation, and corporate law. Attorney Cashman works with nonprofit organizations in all of the above practice areas. In her probate and fiduciary litigation practice, she advises clients regarding trusts and bequests, and has successfully represented charitable beneficiaries in Probate Court proceedings involving will and trust interpretation issues, litigation regarding the removal of executors and trustees, and in the modification, termination, and enforcement of charitable trusts. In employment matters, she specializes in drafting handbooks, employment training, including sexual harassment training, advising clients on wage and hour issues, worker classifications, hirings, terminations, and discrimination claims. She also enjoys working with clients on the corporate side, in both the formation and dissolution of nonprofit organizations.
Attorney Cashman received her B.A. from Bates College, cum laude, phi beta kappa, with honors in English, and her law degree from Boston College Law School. Her professional experience includes tenure at the Boston law firm of Morrison, Mahoney and Miller as an associate, and as an associate at Catanzaro & Effron, where she specialized in estate planning and probate. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and Phi Beta Kappa.
