
PATTY C. LEE
Patty Lee provides paralegal services to nonprofit and philanthropic clients and assists with the firm’s registration, reporting, and filing compliance program. Her client work focuses on the formation of new nonprofit entities including incorporation, bylaw creation, applications for federal tax-exempt status, and state charitable and tax registrations. She also supports the firm’s attorneys by assisting them with client data, document preparation and review, and in maintaining and updating the firm’s database.
In addition to her work at Hurwit & Associates, Patty currently serves as an Interfaith Chaplain in the Spiritual Care Services Department at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston where she helps patients and their families navigate difficult health, trauma and end of life situations. She also volunteers for a number of nonprofit organizations including Boston Medical Center and St. Mary’s of the Annunciation in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Previously, Patty managed the front office for MESA Corporation.
Patty Lee received a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from Weston Jesuit School of Theology in 2003, an M.M. degree in Musicology and Violin Performance from New England Conservatory in 2000, and a B.A. in English from Tufts University in 1989.
